New tablet crushing guide for Residential Aged Care
A new guide has been developed to assist Residential Aged Care when considering crushing oral medicines for residents with swallowing difficulties. This guide includes options which should be considered prior to crushing tablets such as the availability of oral liquids or alternative routes such as transdermal patches.
